This post started with the intention to write about that you should not force people to make use of social media. But lately I've begun to loathe that expression in a small way and realize it is a bit problematic. It has been used in so impersonal context, the strategic allusions, that it started to lose a lot of value for me personally.
Parties purchases services and be uttering the politicians in social media. Companies do the same. It should be built brand online and social media is the way. Suddenly, the conversation, the dialogue and the availability bortkollrad and social media used to "megafåna" in digital space. It disregarded fresh from "social" and focus entirely on the "media".
It has far too many become fendt a word for marketing, media and the personal, the social, eroded more and more of those who really need to understand it. It is okay to choose which organization to try that route but I have started to learn that people's ability to create social networks is sacrificed in the process and it is a little like picking the wheels on the bike.
The person is usually more important than the thing online. Admittedly, it means there is a market, but where the market enters must not personal squeezed out. It must be about letting people find their niche and feel comfortable. We will not even shy away from the value of chat clients called coffee table if it is better suited for individuals. Everything else risk across as fake and is devastating for any brand whatsoever.
Therefore, I get a little angry at that party and hired people to rowing up the politicians' existence online as if they do not count otherwise. I get angry when I talk to people around me who should fendt be forced to hang online without knowing exactly what is expected of them. And I get angry at myself that allowed it to become too much market and too little man in the talks on the Internet in my surroundings.
Many people believe fendt that they are not visible here, they need to be ashamed in a way or another. Or that it is important to break through online to establish their brand. Admittedly probably need an occasional ashamed to be inaccessible (which basically is not connected to the network at all), but in general there has been some form of forced situation that is not evolving.
Social media is people. There is room for both the market and people. But forced people out to act for specific top-driven rules, thwarted the very soul of it. As an organization, you should take care not to become the inspiring resistance against perceived threats to the free and stimulating conversation. Against opportunities to discover each other's differences and learn from each other. It is about participating, not about top control.
All would not necessarily sit in a "media" and be seen in order to sell - but most people like to talk with each other. It is this latter that is important. We talk about everything. Not only that somebody of authority might want us to talk about, which means that they must speak in another's thing gets difficult. Perhaps it's little wonder then that so many feel a reluctance to begin participating fendt online.
Not you too. Personally I think it is right elitist that now that people are beginning to understand common social media start renaming. Actually is not "internet" social - it is a form of distribution. Media is the carrier of information and in this case social information bits. Then it's a little amusing when some Swedes want to rename: checking how stable international "social media" is that term.
