This post started with the intention to write about that you should not force people to make use of social media. But lately I've begun to loathe that expression in a small way and realize it is a bit problematic. It has been used in so impersonal context, the strategic allusions, that it started to lose a lot of value for me personally.
Parties purchases services and be uttering the politicians in social media. Companies do the same. It should be built brand online and social media is the way. Against opportunities to discover each other's differences and learn from each other. It is about participating, not about top control.
All would not necessarily sit in a "media" and be seen in order to sell - but most people like to talk with each other. It is this latter that is important. We talk about everything. Not only that somebody of authority might want us to talk about, which means that they must speak in another's thing gets difficult.
