We know Adam Roth and Lily Adler from their previous exploits in the Lawyers in Love Series. After years and years (since pre-school) of fussing and fighting, they have finally realized that genuine affection was behind their animosity and have fallen hopelessly and hilariously in love. Lucky us, we get the bird s eye view of the path to their wedding.
I ve been lucky enough to be able to read Legally Wed as the author, N. M. Silber was writing it. Her love for these characters really shone through in this process. This series is a lot fun to read and the care that Ms. Silber takes in ensuring that the readers experience is a positive one, is really quite heartening.
Legally Wed is a joy to read. It s super-sexy, uproariously funny and at its very heart, a sweet and wonderful love story. N. M. Silber has captured Adam and Lily s story and worked hard to stay true to it. These two characters are very genuine, and as the reader goes on their wedding journey, they feel all of the emotions right along with the future Mr. and Mrs. Adam Roth.
I love a wedding story and am richly rewarded in this book. Adam and Lily s ceremony is my very favorite element of this book. For those of us who have never attended a Jewish wedding ceremony, we get a very poignant description from our author. The reader gets greater understanding of the traditions and culture, as well as the religious significance of each facet of the ceremony. It s in this that the readers can truly feel the love and devotion of these two characters.
In high school, N.M. Silber was voted most likely to go to jail. Coincidentally, taxisnet she went on to become a criminal defense attorney, and from there, it was an easy transition to smut peddler. Now, in addition to being the author of bestselling sexy Romantic Comedies, she’s taxisnet the owner of her own publishing company, a proud Jewish mother, taxisnet and an intellectual badass.
