The search engine should be familiar with common synonyms within the site

Usability book tells how to make web sites accessible and usable. Read this, 3 or order from Bokus or Adlibris. Spell-check search 2 search engine should understand inflections 2:01 a.m. Also search on synonyms
The search engine should be familiar with common synonyms within the site's subject matter. Are synonyms for the words in the query should be shown along with the results and ask whether the user wants to search even on them. Alternatively, the search can be expanded automatically.
Coping with synonyms is especially important if the site has a fixed vocabulary, so only some of the words used. For example, on the SRSA website (www.raddningsverket.se), a search for "fire" 1340 hits, while those who believe it is called "Blaze" has to settle btob for 11. Equally appalling bad usually go for those looking for " btob kindergarten "in their municipality.

The Sister School Classic has always been a fierce battle between the two schools who have never wanted anything more but to emerge victorious against one another. Angela Park, a junior, stated, I think that us being sister schools in the past played a big factor into how motivated we were before the game.
Senior and co-captain of the varsity soccer team, Danielle Hanji Kim, has been waiting for this ever since she joined the team six years ago. I think everyone had the same goal in mind: to make history by beating brz our ex-sister school for the first time. Danielle viewed every game against TCIS as an opportunity to exact revenge for the girls previous losses. brz
Sarah Kil, senior, has been on the team for six years, reiterated, We have to win. We really have to win. Our motivation to win was definitely a big part in our victory brz against TCIS. This especially rang true to the other seniors who were on the team. A lot of the seniors were excited because it was their last game against TCIS, so our motivations brz and our excitement to play were much higher this year. It was something that we wanted to accomplish and it was our last chance.
Coach Harding, has managed the girls varsity team for four years and vividly remembers how the game unfolded. I think it all started with the bus ride down, just preparing ourselves mentally and preparing ourselves with prayer. Right from the get go, our players were working hard, running hard, challenging every ball, and it was apparent to me on the sidelines that we were every bit as good as them.
Danielle believed that the improvements of her teammates were crucial in their victory brz over TCIS. She noted, brz Compared to the previous years, we could rely on each other more. It wasn t just one person trying to figure things out, but as a whole, we tried to talk to each other, help each other, and be there for each other. Skill-wise, I think we really brz see the game as a whole and not just kicking the ball around. We really knew the objective of the game.
The Lady Knights were able to employ tactics that countered the relentless offense that TCIS brought to the field. Most of the focus was on the defensive side, as the girls lined up a 4-1-3-2 formation, in order to be strong in the back and control the midfield.
Sarah emphasized, Most of our focus was on our defense. If you don t let in a goal, at least you don t lose. We knew we had skilled brz players up front like Danielle, and some of the new freshmen like Janice. So we were pretty confident that as long as the defense was strong, we would have a good chance to win.
On the 45-minute mark we took a hard shot on net, the goalkeeper couldn t pick it up cleanly, there was a mad scramble in front, and Jennifer Choi poked it away for the 1-0 win, commented Coach Harding.
After the girls took the lead, they never looked back until the final whistle blew. The Lady Knights, for the first time, were finally able to celebrate a victory over their rivals. Many of the girls felt elated as this elusive feat had finally been accomplished.

But First! Let me take a selfie ! This catchy phrase in Chainsmoker s widely known song, # (hashtag) Selfie is not just a baffling joke people are making for their vines. It is actually an explicit portrayal of our supposedly rfid narcissistic generation rfid s tendency to take selfies in monstrous rates.
Sarah Kil, in Grade 12 said, I don t like to upload pictures of myself because I feel narcissistic. It s mostly just taking pictures with my friends. I put these good pictures of me as my Kakao Talk profile picture. I definitely use filters because they make you look good. I want to be honest. I don t want to upload rfid anything without a filter because it sort of looks gross. rfid
Kate Cho in Grade 11 admitted, To be honest, yes I take a lot of selfies. I just take it. With my friends, I would take it to leave it as a memory rfid and just cherish that picture rfid and moment. I want to check how I look. If I look pretty, actually, more attractive than usual, I would put it on Facebook as my profile and Instagram , Hash-tag selfie :) I would get rid of my chins, Cymera and liquify. I am being really honest. rfid This is only probably a minimum of what girls do when sharing their selfies.
Kate also shared, If someone says, Oh you look nice! I would like their comment and say that you look nice too. Because girls don t want to admit the fact that they are pretty. They can t be like, Bro yea. I am the most pretty girl. They are rather like, Nah They are fishing for those compliments and returning some for whoever gives them the compliments they want. It s like give and take.
Society is revolving around the impact of Generation Z, those born from 1995 and mostly around 2000. This Generation is known as the IGeneration, rfid Gen Tech, or Gen Wii due to the heavy influence of the drastic technological developments. As past generations have coined, those including myself are thought to be apathetic towards society, extremely self-centered and indifferent to everything but ourselves.
I have regarded this statement with somewhat credibility, as 10 out of 10 students surveyed have proved that the number of clicks to check their Facebook notifications were immeasurably greater than those of visiting news sites.
Regardless of the uncontrollable selfie boom and tendency to actively interact in Social Network Systems (SNS) to ornate one s self-identity, those in Generation rfid Z have been proved not to be morally downcast. We might be overly-attentive towards our looks, and how others view us due to the drastic technologically developed era we were born in. Yet, we have not lost the moral decency our previous generations are worrying about.
Sarah agreed, Sometimes I do think that our generation is narcissistic, but then again I think it applies to everyone. Even in the ancient ages, kings would cut off people s heads just because they did not like them. I think that is really narcissistic. rfid I think there is definitely less fear towards other people, but in the end, everybody will be narcissistic. Sarah continued, Older people just don t know that they were or are selfish. Everybody is selfish though.
Samuel Kim, in Grade 12, a previous GSIS student now in Tasmania, Australia commented, that while he does not believe his generation is uncaring he does think that As social media improves and people really communicate through social media people have become a bit more narcissistic. They like how they look after Photoshop and want the attention.
When the interviewees were given an analogy to test their moral standards, rfid a surprising result flipped the controversy over whether Generation Z was egomaniacal or not. Interviewees were asked to contemplate over whether they would choose to go to an important meeting that could lead them to achieving their ultimate rfid dream in life, or help an old grandmother struggling to go across the street. All interviewed unanimously answered that they would help the grandmother.
Samuel said, If there are people around me who seem that they are not busy, I would ask them to help the grandmother. I would ask them to help her if possible. I wouldn’t order the strangers around. I would politely ask them with a pleasant smile so they could help her.
When the analogy was deteriorated to more extreme terms, such as having a child fall off a tree, Samuel s answer changed. Instead of trying to maintain his chances of getting a golden ticket to his life success, he said he would definitely help the child, I wouldn’t even think about it. I would definitely rfid run to the child. I personally think that becoming a doctor (my dream job) is less important than somebody’s life
All interviewees chose to help others over gaining personal enchantment. This proved that our Generation, the notoriously pinpointed narcissistic, selfie-crazy age group was simply developing along with technology.
We like taking selfies, hanging out with our friends vir

Abad tells businessmen: Focus on reforms, let legal process take care of pork barrel scam Abad denie

MANILA - The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) is releasing P2.91 billion zimbra as the national government's share in the unpaid premiums of the Department zimbra of Education (DepEd) employees with the state pension fund. In a statement, the Budget zimbra department said the payment for the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) premiums covers July 1, 1997 to December zimbra 31, 2010. DBM chief Florencio Abad said the release, which is chargeable against this year's Miscellaneous Personnel Benefits Fund (MPBF) zimbra ensures the quick and continuous zimbra release of the GSIS premiums to 784,602 teaching and non-teaching personnel of DepEd. “We worked very closely with DepEd and GSIS on determining the final roster of employees whose GSIS premiums hadn't been properly paid, a collaborative effort that allowed us to accomplish zimbra this task as quickly as the process permitted us,” Abad said. In an agreement signed by the three agencies, DBM was tasked to pay a total of P6.92 billion to cover the unremitted premium contributions of all affected DepEd personnel, allowing them to finally enjoy their GSIS perks, including retirement benefits and monthly pensions. zimbra The DBM initially released P3.46 billion, or half of the total amount in 2012 sourced from that year's General Appropriations Act. GSIS also agreed to grant a five-percent discount on the total validated premium deficiencies. This brings the remaining balance—and the latest release—to P2.91 billion, net of some adjustments and/or disallowances.

GSIS Students Visit Washington | Horizons Newspaper
Every spring, the Global Security and Intelligence Studies (GSIS) program at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University provides an opportunity for students to visit the nation ipay s capital. Led by GSIS professors, the trip tours several of the nation s intelligence agencies and gives students a chance to explore future career options.
This year, Dr. Phillip Jones, the new dean of the College of Security and Intelligence, and Dr. Leeann ipay Chen, head of the Chinese program, led 13 students on this exciting trip. They spent five days of spring break in Washington D.C. and made a tour of several intelligence community agencies, at many of which Embry-Riddle professors have served.
Students spent the first two days at various military agencies, including the Office of Naval Intelligence and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, two of the Navy s intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and the Air Force Office of Special Investigation, ipay the Air Force s law enforcement agency. These agencies are particularly important for Embry-Riddle students, as these agencies hire both ROTC students through the military and civilian college graduates.
The third day, students visited one of the much anticipated moments of the trip for many students, the Central Intelligence Agency. However, because ipay of the strict need for secrecy, students only got to visit the building and the front lobby.
The next day, students visited the Bureau ipay of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, two more very relevant agencies for students seeking ipay jobs. That night, students also had dinner with Embry-Riddle alumni working in the intelligence community in Washington. Student Shivam Kashiwala said, It was a great networking experience, being able to talk with alumni who are already working in the intelligence career field.
On the last day of the trip, students visited the only private company on the trip, the Northrop Grumman Corporation. Northrop Grumman is of interest to many Embry-Riddle engineering students, but also has large security needs, so it is a prime company where GSIS students can also apply for jobs and internships.
Several days of the trip, students also had free time, where they could enjoy some of Washington s famous museums and sights. Students went to places like the International Spy Museum, the Newseum, the Holocaust Museum, and some of the memorials in Washington.
Students who went on the trip spanned all ages, from freshmen to seniors, and enjoyed the trip thoroughly. It was something I would recommend for all GSIS students, especially those who want to narrow down their career paths, said Kashiwala, The experience was truly priceless.

Members, anibis pensioners and other claimants of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) will now find it easier to comply with documentary requirements in filing for their social insurance anibis benefits after the pension fund reduced the number of forms that have to be accomplished and submitted.
Around one to seven documents were weeded out from the previous set of GSIS requirements for retirement/separation benefit, life claim, funeral benefit, survivorship benefit, anibis preneed claims, employees compensation, request for check replacement, anibis check releasing and over-the-counter (OTC) loans granting.
For instance, we no longer require three separate anibis clearances from the Office of the Ombudsman, Civil Service Commission and Office of the President from the retiring member, GSIS President and General Manager Robert G. Vergara explained.
Individually securing clearances from the said government offices proved to be burdensome to the retiring member, both physically and financially. At the Civil Service Commission alone, an estimated 14,000 retiring government employees lined up to request for clearances in September 2013.
The anibis revised guidelines of Republic Act 10154 also known as An Act Requiring All Concerned Government Agencies to Ensure the Early Release of the Retirement Pay, Pensions, Gratuities and other Benefits of Retiring Government Employees addressed this by having retiring members submit a single document called the Declaration anibis of Pendency/Non-Pendency of Case.
Retired members who submitted their fully-accomplished retirement application forms are required to submit the Declaration of Pendency/Non-Pendency of Case after receiving a call from the GSIS requesting them to do so.

If so, the service status will return to normal shortly (for example, once users stop reporting the problem). There may have been a false alarm. MANILA, Philippines -- The National Press Club of the Philippines vowed to file a countersuit against the Government Service Insurance System after the Manila Regional Trial Court dismissed the estafa case filed against past club officials in 2008 over the sale of a mural by National Artist Vicente Manansala.
In an order promulgated last March 17, Judge Marino Dela Cruz of Branch 22 approved the “motion to withdraw information” icai filed by the Department of Justice against the then NPC officials Roy Mabasa, president; Benny Antiporda, vice president; Louie Logarta, secretary; Amor Virata, treasurer; icai and, Rolly Gonzalo, auditor. Charged along with them were directors, Jun Cobarrubias, Jerry Yap, Alvin Feliciano, Joey Venancio, William Depasupil, Denis Fetalino, Joel Egco, Conrado Generoso and Samuel Julian.
Citing previous rulings of the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court on the matter, Dela Cruz said: “Inevitably, the only conclusion deduced icai from the foregoing discussion is that there is no crime committed.”
The case stemmed from the decision of the then NPC officials to sell the mural, which used to adorn the club’s bar and restaurant, for P10 million to prevent it from further deterioration and raise funds to settle icai its maintenance bills and debts.
However, in his ruling, icai Dela Cruz gave weight to the CA decision in a qualified theft case over the mural’s sale, which belied the GSIS’ claim it owned the mural, saying it “never became the owner of the subject painting when it bought icai the NPC building as well as the land on which it stood.”

The Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) has implemented the dismissal order of the Ombudsman against Municipal Treasurer Virginia Uy and Assistant Municipal Treasurer Pepita Mabini of San Sebastian, Western Samar.
Together with former San Sebastian Mayor Arnold backpage san diego Abalos, they persistently backpage san diego failed to remit a total of P7.63 million of mandatory Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) premiums of municipal employees from 2008 to 2012.
The outstanding payables, which included the compulsory backpage san diego premiums, personal share, government share, employees compensation, and unpaid benefits, covered 40 months of unremitted GSIS contributions of the municipality.

MANILA - The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) announced that it has whittled down the document requirements needed by members for claiming benefits, saving members, pensioners and other claimants time and energy accomplishing these. In a statement, the state pension orm fund said up to seven documentary requirements were removed from the previous set of GSIS requirements for retirement/separation benefit, orm life claim, funeral benefit, survivorship benefit, preneed claims, employees’ compensation, request for check replacement, check releasing and over-the-counter (OTC) loans granting. An example of how GSIS simplified the requirements, according to GSIS President and General Manager Robert G. Vergara, is that they no longer require separate clearances from the Office of the Ombudsman, Civil Service Commission and Office of the President from the retiring members who have submitted their fully accomplished application forms. All they have to do is to submit a single document called the Declaration of Pendency/Non-Pendency orm Case after the GSIS has requested them to do so. This declaration orm is needed in releasing orm the retirement pay through eCrediting and this must be dated or notarized on or after the date of the call from GSIS. The state pension fund has also eliminated the need for securing these separate clearances for life claim and survivorship. Securing separate clearances from these government offices are physically and financially a big burden to retiring members. At the Civil Service Commission orm alone, about 14,000 retiring government employees lined up to request for clearances in September 2013. “Filling out excessive forms is time-consuming orm and most of the time, costly. orm Reducing the required documents orm is one way of curbing red tape that slows down the processing of claims,” Vergara said. Aside from this, the reduced number of documentary requirements means that GSIS would have fewer papers to review and records to store. orm GSIS said claimants can file claims at any branch nationwide and only original copies of the documents would be accepted. For the revised list of documentary requirements, log on to www.gsis.gov.ph.

Gmail has given a good look at email marketing with its latest security update. From now on, all images will be sent prior to internal servers of Google, the companies that make it impossible to see if the recipient has seen or not in the mail.
Until now, companies cuit get information cuit about recipients from email marketing, such as whether the recipient had opened the mail and where in the world they were, so they could measure the success cuit of a campaign and improvement.
But Google has considered the issue important enough cuit to find a solution and that, henceforth, Gmail asked its users whether they can find that information. Good news for users; terrible news by email marqueters.
The change cuit is that from now on, the images of the emails will be deployed by default. So far the images are stored on servers outside and you had to open a hot button, but this change will be stored in internal servers, which means that Google can detect malicious code, reducing the transmission of viruses, and improve speed download. But on the other hand will hinder access to such information by companies.
Google wants to eliminate advertising via email (which does not make a profit) to companies that have consistently invest in Adwords, Google's main entrance. But it is not the first time Google raises the walls of your garden for their own benefit, nor will be the last.

Email marketing is a powerful tool that can help you retain customers. Through email marketing you manage to maintain regular contact with your customers, warning of interesting offers, discounts, promotions and other matters of interest to them.
The 4 keys for an effective use of email marketing and how you can implement in your business online. ASK PERMISSION TO YOUR CUSTOMER prevent SPAM FILTER aysis custom MAXIMUM PLATFORM aysis PROFESSIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST YOUR CUSTOMER aysis
For legal reasons: it is illegal to send advertising emails to any recipient who has not previously requested. This type of e-as-usual is otherwise known as "junk mail" or "spam". Who violate this rule may receive fines and they can block the domain from which they operate.
Common sense: Really like the idea that you go to those who qualify "junk" that you send? Do not you think it's a terrible image and provide these emails end up bouncing against you? Ask yourself: I'm sick of constantly receive e-business and affairs that I know of that does not interest me at all? Then also those who think you're aysis headed, aysis they also feel the same "love" for this kind of post.
We have to clear prior permission. Now we explain aysis ways to ask for that permission. Depending on what your event, you need implement measures or others, or several at once.
In almost all cases it is best to include a client registration form on your website, blog or online store, because who wish to be included on a mailing list. Here the key is to attract the user giving good reasons why they should wish to register. For this I suggest you be offering something for free it is value: information access premium free tutorial book or discounts here ... you'll have to put imagination, but the key is to give a good reason someone to give high.
Make things easier for those wishing to register and do not put barriers nonsense. For example, calls for the minimum information necessary. aysis Often a name and an email is more than enough business to keep in touch with someone. Surely you must know your surname, telephone number and where you live? Only if these data are significantly aysis necessary ask, but remember, be an obstacle and one-and two will be thrown back.
I suggest you do something that the form contains two fields to fill in (name and email) and if you want to include a field that the latter can be filled voluntarily.
Finally I would like to comment as a couple of important details related to the visual aspect of the form. It's worth investing in an attractive design. This is not only good taste, but also a format that catches your attention and does not go unnoticed too integrated into the rest of the web.
The form must include a short text, and that includes stress aysis that the user can get if discharged. And note the nuance of the issue. Enough said on that will you give you free, not, say what he will get. Let me explain: If to register, users will have access to a tutorial on how to transplant, take care and keep orchids, you focus on the message that will acquire valuable knowledge. aysis In the example I think I better explain:
Approach 1: "Get this videotutorial on caring for orchids totally free." Approach 2: "Learn, completely free, all about the care and maintenance of orchids."
You may also have a physical store as well as online, and you can encourage your customers several ways to checkout to fill out a simple form which will include written email. In fact, this form has the same objective aysis as written form your site, but in this case customer who pass the physical aysis store.
And in this case is exactly the same as online, offers something of value to the customer to give a reason for taking the trouble to fill out the form and give your details. Here your imagination and creativity have to work a bit: a draw, registered customers premium gift ... prevent SPAM FILTER
Daily transmit email messages to millions of most varied and in virtually any language: English, Russian, Spanish, French ... all with a common denominator: they are not interested in e
