Active and regular GSIS members who are permanent employees in the government with at least three years of service spanish to english with salary grade of 24 or below or its equivalent job level may nominate spanish to english their dependents who have been accepted in any four- or five-year course or in priority courses identified by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
Since 1998, the GSIS has granted a total of 1,887 scholarships. Previously, the mode of choosing scholars was through an electronic raffle. Since 2012, nominees of members spanish to english who have the lowest spanish to english annual basic salary have been given priority.
