Land and Environment Court case M 1333-11 People's Campaign against Nuclear Power Nuclear Weapons (FMKK), along with the Environmental Movement's Nuclear Waste Secretariat (Milka) and Friends of the Earth (JV), filed an opinion: "Opinion regarding supplementing In the application for a permit under the Environmental Code of facilities in a coherent system for the disposal of spent nuclear fuel and nuclear waste "to the Land and Environment Court.
This opinion would FMKK add the following statement to clarify our positions on this complex matter. FMKK do not consider that SKB investigated alternative methods of storage in a serious seen. Therefore, we can not support the KBS-3 method which has many weaknesses (see the opinion of others) and SKB AB refuses to take any notice of. FMKK do not think it is beneficial to further research on nuclear facilities; often refer to the "fourth generation" reactors, nor do we see any recovery of plutonium (MOX), separation or transmutation. FMKK believes that nuclear power must be immediately closed down and the waste that has so far produced must be disposed of in a responsible manner. November 6, 2013 Petra Modée chairman FMKK
