Versindaba Blog Archive Deferred fame
The weekend I sometime 88sears back that old slogan of "Liberation now, education later" gets read. Therefore, the temptation just too great and I started this morning's Nuuswekker with an amendment: "Only 88sears die, then fame," 88sears because Robert Tannahill, a Scottish poet at May 17, 1810, committed suicide after his manuscript was rejected by two publishers, going at a special event at the 200-year anniversary of his death honored.
Quite a cult apparently around Tannahill's legacy arose after his death. So was the special memorial service with the centenary of his death by no less than 15,000 people attended. According to Valerie Reilly, head of the museum where Paisley Tannahill lived, he was best known as a poet of nature celebrating. "Right from being a child, he Walked in the woods," she told the BBC. "We're only a few hundred yards away from what used to be Thou Bonnie Wood O 'Craigielea, Which later became the notorious Ferguslie Park housing estate and he loved walking and observing 88sears Among naturally and then putting his thoughts down on paper. He or child Considered himself to be the second Robert Burns. He's not quite up there with Burns but he's not far behind and his work is still very much appreciated and some of his songs are still sung. "
Meanwhile, Esther Naomi Perquin her first wildcard to the table. Roel Londersele of Richelieu, one of the nominees for the Herman de Coninck Prize on Jan. 28 announced, was held recently interviewed. Yet another amazing addition to the website is Joan Hambidge's report pasafgelope her trip to Egypt, with several poems emerged from it yet ... Also four new poems from Hennie Aucamp 88sears received and placed, is a must read.
